Terms and conditions of use

Cut Off Times:   Orders placed prior to 12 Noon in the sender’s time zone can be delivered the same day the order is placed, DURING NON HOLIDAY PERIODS.  Normal delivery schedules are between 9 AM and 6 pm Monday thru Saturday.  Again Holiday periods when delivery trucks are running at full capacity will necessitate ordering earlier or the previous day.  NO SUNDAY DELIVERY SERVICE IS OFFERED. On most Legal Holidays in the United States and Canada no delivery is available.  Fruit Basket, Gourmet Basket, Food Item orders require more advance notice than the Noon Order placement policy.  It is best to order those items a day in advance.

FUNERAL ORDERS:  Delivery to Funeral Homes usually requires several hours advance delivery, so that the funeral home has time to display and place the delivered items in the funeral home or church. Adequate lead time must be allocated to florists so that the order can be designed, delivered, and placed by the funeral home. Orders placed for delivery to funeral homes or funerals at churches that are placed after 3:00pm (time zone of delivery) for delivery the following day to a funeral service that is prior to 11:30am, cannot be guaranteed for delivery. Orders placed on Saturdays after 3:00pm (time zone of delivery) or placed anytime on Sunday for a funeral service on Monday that is prior to 11:30am, cannot be guaranteed for delivery.

SCHOOL DELIVERIES: Deliveries to public elementary, middle, junior high and high schools for students, cannot be guaranteed, as most schools will not allow delivery drivers to enter classrooms. Many public schools will refuse the delivery. If the order is placed & the school refuses to accept the delivery on behalf of a student, charges for the order will remain and will not be refunded.

POST OFFICE BOXES & RURAL ROUTE Numbers: We cannot deliver to post office boxes, nor an address that is simply a Rural Route Number with no additional locating information.  The post office does not accept arrangements as mail.

NON-DELIVERABLE Cities:  Not all cities in the United States & Canada have resident florists or floral delivery service available. Some rural areas and those that are a distance away from a larger city may not have this service. In instances where there is no florist or floral delivery service to a particular city, Citywide Flowershop will make every effort possible to locate a florist who will service the order placed for that city. This sometimes takes time in locating a distant florist who will agree to serve that area for the order. In those instances where a florist cannot be located who will service that city, Citywide Flowershop will notify the customer by telephone or email about the non serviceable city. Very rural and those that are a distance from the florist may require additional delivery fees, and if this should be the case, Citywide Flowershop will notify the customer prior to delivery for the customer to decide whether they want the order delivered or not.

FRAUDULENT ORDERS:   Citywide Flowershop reserves the right to reject any order provided to us that we deem questionable or possibly fraudulent. When an order is received by Citywide Flowershop we review the entire order and periodically compare the information provided to us with the bank of the person placing the order. If we determine that fraudulent information is provided we will send an email to the sender to inform them of the situation to determine if the information was provided in error. On orders that are placed fraudulently, information in the order will be given to local law enforcement, and the recipient will be contacted about the fraudulent goods they are in receipt of.

ORDER CANCELLATION:  Should any customer place an order through Citywide Flowershop and then need to cancel the order, the cancellation must be made prior to the delivery of the order, or prior to special ordering of the product selected. If the cancellation is received after the order is delivered then no refund can be issued. Cancellations cannot be accepted if a customer places an order but provides information that prevents direct delivery such as in the case of a bad work or home address. The customer can obtain new information so the order can then be properly delivered using correct information. This is to protect the florist who fills the order and then attempts to make a delivery. Once an order is placed for same day delivery, it cannot be cancelled 2 hours after order placement, or if order is already in delivery transit.

CANCELLATION FEES: Once an order is placed, cancellation of the order by the customer for Any reason but non-delivery** will result in a cancellation fee of $14.95. for domestic & Canadian Delivery Addresses.(International Orders are $39.95) A cancellation request on the same day the order is scheduled to be delivered may not be able to be accommodated since the delivery may already be in transit.

If it becomes necessary for the order to be cancelled because the customer entered a wrong address, wrong delivery date, or wrong Recipient information, a cancellation fee of $14.95 will be charged.

**Non-Delivery constitutes the filling florist failing to deliver the product on the specified delivery date entered by the customer on the order form, subject to the substitution policy.

ORDER REFUSAL or ERRORS:  Citywide Flowershop is not responsible for any order where the recipient refuses to accept the item. Citywide Flowershop will not issue refunds to any customer where the recipient, for whatever reason, will not accept the item or refuses delivery.

Citywide Flowershop is not liable for customer errors that result in the over-ordering of a product. During the checkout process the customer is provided with a total of the order PRIOR to the order being submitted. The customer is given the option to remove items or reduce the quantity ordered. Citywide Flowershop makes every effort to review orders where multiple quantities of a same item are ordered but we do not guarantee, nor are we liable, for any order sent out exactly as the customer ordered. If a customer orders more than one of any single item but meant to send a lesser quantity and the ordered amount is sent to the recipient, no refund can be offered since what was ordered is what will be delivered.

SUBSTITUTION: Citywide Flowershop  will attempt to fill  orders as close to the pictured item as possible, however if the container, flowers or other items that comprise the order are unavailable then the order will be substituted with content equal to the original value of the order. This is why each description says that on the item pictured components may vary based on regional and seasonal availability to the filling florist.  This may mean that the recipient does not necessarily receive an arrangement identical to what is pictured though every effort is made to do so. We attempt to fill the order as closely to the picture as possible with the same feel and look. In cases of specialty items, such as  containers and novelty items it is our intent to design your purchase as closely as possible to that pictured, but the items may vary to get that look.

QUALITY: If an order is filled and delivered to the recipient and there is a question of the quality of the arrangement then the recipient should contact the florist who made the delivery. In almost every case the filling florist will gladly replace the arrangement. To request a replacement either the filling florist or Citywide Flowershop must be contacted within 48 hours of the delivery. Bear in mind that flowers are perishable. Proper care is required. It is the responsibility of the recipient to follow any care instructions provided by the filling florist. No refunds or replacements will be made for any order should the recipient or sender not notify the filling florist or Citywide Flowershop within 48 hours of the original delivery date. If an order is filled and it is determined that inappropriate or unauthorized substitution has occurred, we reserve the right to have the filling florist replace the arrangement.
